~Welcome to Maine Light Maps!~

We are pleased to introduce our distinctive new series of lighthouse prints. Fifteen well-known coastal Maine lights were individually painted onto their corresponding shoreline USGS* topographic quad maps -- using a combination of watercolors and pen & ink -- and they are currently available to the general public here online (see Online Store!), as well as to retail store owners at a special wholesale value (see Wholesale Info). The artist, Wendy Richard Tanner, has been producing beautiful images of coastal Maine scenes for more than a decade now. We are excited to bring you her lighthouse collection. After the enthusiastic reception and surprising success of her map rendering of the Hockamock Head Light, on Swan's Island, Maine, we decided to expand our offerings to include some of the other more popular Maine lights. Our selections consist of the Whaleback Light in Kittery, the Cape Neddick Light (Nubble), Goat Island Light off Kennebunkport, Portland Head Light, Seguin Island Light, Boothbay Harbor's Burnt Island Light, Pemaquid Point Light, Owls Head Light, Curtis Island Light out of Camden, the Fort Point Light, Deer Island Thorofare Light, Bar Harbor's Egg Rock Light with the Margaret Todd schooner, the Bass Harbor Head Light on Mt. Desert Island, Hockamock Head Light, and the West Quoddy Head Light near Lubec. Follow the appropriate links for scanned images of the artwork (these are website quality scans - prints for sale are of a much higher resolution to include the finer cartographic details).

Prints are 11 x 17 inches, board-backed, and individually packaged in clear plastic sheaths with a logo sticker specifying the lighthouse depicted in the artwork.  Most of our retailers charge between $16-$20 per piece, and so as not to undercut them we are offering the prints here at a price of $21 apiece plus a shipping fee, with a minimum order requirement of 2 units.  If you are convenient to one of the stores that carries our work (see List of Retailers) you should check there first for the likelihood of a better value.  But if you have discovered us on your travels or are simply interested in our full selection of lighthouses, we are very glad to serve you here on the web.  We thank you for visiting us online, and we encourage you to contact us if you have any questions.  For order information please go to our Online Store.  And please also know, your SATISFACTION IS GUARANTEED.
